Fida Vacancies: Fida Kenya has announced that it is recruiting up to 400 Kenyans to take part in its election observation program for the upcoming General Elections.
The jobs will attract a monthly pay of Sh. 35,000 that shall cover the successful applicant’s transport needs, meals, and accommodation. The jobs shall last for a period of 6 months.
Requirements:
All applicants are required to posses a post-secondary school certificate such as a Diploma and should have experience in social sciences or paralegal studies.
They are also required to have a minimum of one year experience in human rights work or research, be a resident in the county they apply in and understand its local language as well as English and Swahili.

They must have a laptop or smartphone, understanding of political happenings and the capacity to engage local leaders.
The shortlisted candidates shall be required to submit a letter from their area chief or religious leader in support of the candidates good standing in society.
They will also need to have excellent oral and IT skills with working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Tools.

If successful, candidates shall be required to attend a mandatory training that shall be conducted by Fida Kenya on specified dates. They shall also be required to use monitoring tools given by Fida Kenya to record accurate data, as well as partake in any other duties they may be assigned.
