Form One Selection Results: The Ministry of Education has released results for Form I selection.
Results of the nearly 800,000 students who wrote the KCPE exams were announced on May 10 According to the revised school calendar, term one of 2021 will begin on August 2, 2021.
“The Ministry conducted a meticulous Form One selection exercise for the 2020 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education examination results,” said Education CS George Magoha. “I wish to stress that all the candidates who sat the examination will find places in secondary schools in the spirit if our 100 per cent transition policy.”
The KCPE 2020 selection results include all categories of schools from national schools to sub county schools. This was a departure from previous practice when national schools were the first to select and announce results. The results are based on the candidates’ performance, availability of vacancies, and the choices of secondary schools they made when they registered for KCPE.
The KCPE 2020 candidates can access the results through the NEMIS portal (National Educational Management Information System). Candidates will have to login or register if new, in order to access the information posted by the Education Ministry.
