The full Supreme Court judgement on presidential petition 2022 has been released.
The judgment is the result of a case that former Prime Minister Raila Odinga had filed at the Supreme Court to challenge the election victory of Dr. William Ruto.
Dr. Ruto had on August 15, 2022 been declared as the winner of the 2022 presidential election. He garnered 7,176,141 votes, equivalent to 50.59 per cent of valid votes. Raila garnered 6,942,930 votes representing 48.85 per cent.
