Being a Security Guard with G4S is a crucial role as it involves protecting people and property for clients. G4S Security Guards have several responsibilities, including safeguarding people, property, facilities, and information. They primarily patrol and inspect the premises to prevent and respond to threats such as fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal activities. Additionally, they must ensure that all safety and emergency procedures are followed during fire alarms and site emergencies.

Furthermore, G4S Security Guards must meet and maintain any applicable provincial/federal security licensing requirements.

Driver’s abstracts are required for all vehicle-related positions, including non-highway vehicles (Gator, golf cart, motorized bikes, etc.). G4S Security Guards must also maintain annual training certifications and valid First Aid & CPR and AED certifications.

They must be certified in AODA and WHMIS and can assess and evaluate situations.

Salary
