George Mwangi, the businessman who was allegedly murdered by his wife Gladys Chania at their Mang’u Home in Gatundu North, Kiambu home has been buried.
George was buried on October 27 at the very place he called home, and where his life was brutally ended, by an allegedly scorned wife.
The wife who is a politician in Kiambu did not attend the funeral. She was represented by her family members. She however had a goodbye tribute for the man she is accused of killing by the police.
The tribute was read by Gladys Chania’s sister Judy Wanjiku. Here is the tribute to her late husband.
“My husband, it has been 24 years since the day we settled together on Sunday, April 25, 1998.
We have grown from two to five. I thank God for how your care and concern surrounded our family day in and day out.
For now that you have left us untimely, we shall try to fit in your shoes, but it is already difficult to fill them. Brian wonders why you will not see him go to university.
Just like any other family, we had our high and low moments but each day we held our love for each other by reminding ourselves the far we have come.
Why and how Gladys Chania murdered hubby in bedroom, dumped body in forest – DCI
For now that you have left us untimely, we shall try to fill in your shoes but it’s already difficult to fill them.
I promise to uphold all your wishes and see the success of your children. Rest in peace my love, the father of our children.”
