Mr. Frank M. Ireri, EBS, is the current Managing Director of HF Group – popularly known as Housing Finance. He has served as Group Managing Director, and Executive Director of Housing Finance Ltd. since July 2006.
Mr. Ireri holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree fro the University of Nairobi, and a CPA certification. After graduating in 1985 from University of Nairobi with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, he joined Deloitte and trained as an Auditor.
He then became a Certified Public Accountant and stayed with Deloitte for 2 years, and then moved to Arthur Andersen, where he worked for 3 years. From Arthur Andersen, Mr. Frak Ireri moved on to Citi Bank where he stayed for 10 years working in operations and IT.
Mr. Ireri then joined and left Commercial Bank of Africa as a General Manager in 1999. Between 2001 and 2002, he was Chairman of the Kenya Institute of Bankers.
In 2002, he left Commericial Bank of Africa and joined Barclays Kenya. There, he remained for about 4 years, first as an IT Director, then as Regional Service Delivery Director and finally Africa Operations Director covering Kenya, Botswana, Zambia, Mauritius, Seychelles and Egypt. In 2006, he left Barclays for Housing Finance.
In March 2009, Mr. Ireri became one of the newest professionals elected for inclusion in the International WHO’S WHO Historical Society.
Currently, Mr. Frank Ireri also serves as Member of the Risk Management Committee, Member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, and Member of the Board Strategy Committee of the Company.
