How educated is Justina Wamae? To begin with, Justina Wamae hails from a humble background having been born and raised in Kibra slums, the largest slum in Africa.

She is the first born in a family of three. Wamae and her two siblings knew the slum as their home before the 2007 post-election violence forced to flee.

Her family relocated and settled in Syokimau. This then became their new home.

Her education journey started at Kilimani Primary School after which she proceeded to Limuru Girls High School for her secondary education between 2002 and 2005.

Wamae then joined Daystar University in 2006 and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems.

In 2010, she enrolled for a Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management from Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supplies in the UK and graduated in 2012.

Between 2012 and 2014, she undertook her master’s studies and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Purchasing and Logistics from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).

Interestingly, her party leader George Wajackoyah is equally highly educated. He holds multiple degrees and has the academic rank of professor.

Wamae caught the attention of Kenyans during the 2022 deputy presidential debate where she out forth an astonishing performance.
