4. US$3,5 million (R45 million) Sandhurst mansion
The Star newspaper in Johannesburg reported that Grace recently bought a property around the corner in Sandhurst for R45 million (US$3,5 million) and was also negotiating to buy another. The property is located at Number 37 Killarney Road. The price of the property on Killarney Road could go up to a whopping R49 million (US$3,7 million) when transfer costs, renovations, and finishings are added.
5. US$4,5 million (R63 million) Harare’s Hellensvale mansion
A few months ago, Grace and her husband purchased another house in Harare’s Hellensvale suburb for US$4,5 million. As part of the purchase agreement, the former owners have been allowed to stay in the house for the next three years.
6. Farm empire
In 2000, Mugabe seized 15 000 hectares of land from white farmers. He allegedly converted some of the farms into personal retreats.

The vehicle was custom-built in Germany to Mugabe’s specifications. The car is able to withstand AK-47 bullets, landmines and grenades. It also features a CD and DVD player, internet access and anti-bugging devices.
