Football fans are in for a treat this World Cup season courtesy of the Kutana KICC World Cup Festival that is set to take place at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) grounds.

The month-long festival from the 14th of June to the 15th of July 2018 is a partnership initiative between Homeboyz Entertainment Limited (HBE), Jays Pyrotechnics and the KICC.

“Few people will ever get the opportunity to experience and enjoy the live carnival atmosphere of a World Cup match. This is an opportunity for lovers of sport and football to come out and celebrate the beautiful game”, said Myke RabaR, Chief Executive, HBE.

Kutana KICC World Cup Festival will provide football lovers and entertainment enthusiasts with a unique world cup viewing experience bringing together football screenings, live entertainment and cultural showcases that will run across the duration of the football tournament.

Nana Gecaga, the Chief Executive KICC said the organization was opening up KICC to a range of refreshing experiences and events towards building the ultimate business and entertainment meeting space.

During the tournament, giant screens will be installed at the iconic KICC Grounds to give fans an enhanced viewing experience while enjoying spectacular performances from some of Kenya’s finest entertainers.

“We have put together a dynamic menu of activities that will showcase the different cultures represented at this year’s tournament, giving fans a chance to be part of the global fanfare that is the World Cup,” added Rabar.

The festival is yet another addition to HBE’s growing presence on the national sporting arena. HBE sponsors the HomEboyz Rugby Football Club (HBRFC). At the event, Rabar added that the company was exploring ways in which it could contribute to the growth of football in the country.

“We are constantly looking for ways to create more value in sports and this will go a long way in enriching our fan culture and building avenues for partnerships with other industry stakeholders,” said Rabar.
