Robert Ndegwa Kamau, popularly known as Thee Pluto, is not just an ordinary influencer but a successful entrepreneur with multiple investments in various sectors.
The content creator last year took to social media to show off his farm in Githunguri, Kiambu County where he practices both dairy and beef cattle farming, as well as pig farming.
The farm christened Pluto Diaries is divided into sections, with each section hosting different types of animals.
The farmer has specialized in Sahiwal cattle, a breed of Zebu cow, and Boran cattle, a popular Zebu beef breed that is common in most East African countries.
Inside the beef section, Pluto has installed well-structured feeding areas and waterers that are constantly filled with clean water.
According to Pluto, beef cattle are fed a mixture of feeds for fattening, including Poland, fish meal, and dairy meal alongside green matter or silage. He sells meat to butcheries in Githunguri once the cattle are ready for slaughter.

For the dairy cows, Pluto has also installed good feeding and watering areas that provide comfort to the animals. In the sleeping areas, the farmer has used sawdust to keep the area warm and dry to prevent stress that may hinder milk production.
”I use salt supplements for in-calf heifers and dry cows, those that are in stages of their lactation cycle where milk production ceases prior to calving,’’ he explained.
The farm has a separate section for pregnant cows and those that are milked daily. The other section hosts pigs, which the farmer says have so far made him a good income.
Besides farming, Pluto has also invested heavily in the lucrative real estate sector. His known investments include Planet Homes Kenya, which deals with Airbnb, and Summer House Real Estate, which purchases and sells land for profit.
He also has a hand in the beauty and cosmetic industry. He recently started a school that offers Forex trading classes. In addition to content creation and business, he doubles up as a Brand ambassador for various brands.
