Jalang’o: Why and how I will continue working as radio presenter as MP

The member of parliament for Lang’ata constituency Jalang’o has set conditions on how he will host radio shows.

Jalang’o has made his name over the years as an actor, comedian, and morning radio shows host. His last stint on radio was on Kiss 100 Fm which is owned by Radio Africa.

Jalang’o now says that he will be open to hosting morning radio shows as long as they do not interfere with his parliamentary duties.

“Let me answer a few questions that you’ve been asking!

Now that you are an Mp will you still be doing radio? For now, Langata is my No. 1 priority! Delivery of our manifesto and the promises we made to the electorate.

Radio is my love and if I get a morning show that ends by 9 so that I can make it for bunge on time then why not?” he said.

He however explained that he will no longer be able to host club events as he has been doing.

“I know many MPs who still do their jobs and deliver for their constituency. My new job comes with alot of responsibilities and time for clubs might not be there anymore,” he said.

Since he has numerous brand endorsements, Jalang’o explained that he will continue working with brands besides his role as the MP for Lang’ata.

“We will actually be now working with the young people of Langata in concept development and filming! I want to train as many young people as possible in our resource centers. For me to be a brand ambassador of your product you must commit to take up and support a community project in Langata!” said Jalang’o.
