A job seeker whose plead for a job was rudely dismissed by Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has landed a new job.
The job seeker who was identified as Elphas Busisa has landed the job at the same ministry that is headed by CS Murkomen, an indication that the cabinet secretary might have finally heeded the man’s plead and offered him a job.
Murkomen was widely criticized for the manner in which he dismissed the job seeker.
Busisa said that he had gone to the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) offices to run some errands when he saw the cabinet secretary and took his chance, which has now paid off.
In a video clip that went viral on social media, CS Murkomen was captured dismissing Busisa. The video showed Murkomen at the NTSA offices. He came to a group of people who were sitter, presumably awaiting services.
“Habari zenyu?” Murkomen greeted them. Two gentlemen stood up, with Busisa who dressed in a blue shirt, clasping his hands into those of Murkomen. He appeared to make an impassioned but indecipherable plead.

Towards the end, Busisa was heard saying, “Unitafutie kazi Mheshimiwa…”
However, the CS did not seem to pay attention and quickly shut him down saying, “No, no… Hatupeani kazi hapa…”
