The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has advertised internship opportunities for degree and diploma holders.
In a notice on Friday, April 25, the commission invited suitable candidates to fill the 209 vacancies within the Judiciary.
“The Commission invites suitable candidates for the internship programme in the Judiciary. This programme offers young people the opportunity to consolidate and translate the skills learned from their training to a meaningful, relevant and practical situation on job experience,” the notice reads in part.
The interns will be deployed in the Judiciary in the areas of Office Administration, Information Communication and Technology, Supply Chain Management, Information Science and Records Management, Structural/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architectural, Construction, and Project Management.
According to the notice, there are 94 opportunities targeting degree holders in various disciplines, including Office Administration (Secretarial Services) (5), ICT Security (2), Network Administration (2), Database Administration (2).

Others are Web Development (1), System Administration (1), Application Development (1), ICT Support (2) and Human Resource Management (10).
JSC is also seeking degree interns to serve in supply Chain Management (10), Information Science and Records Management Services (10), Building Services (5), Architectural Services (2), Construction Management (1), Electrical Engineering (1), Mechanical Engineering (1), Finance (Economists) (2) and General Graduate Trainees (40).
On the other hand, there are 115 internship opportunities for diploma holders which include: Office Administration (Secretarial Services) (50), ICT Support (40), Supply Chain Management (10), Information Science and Records Management Services (10), and Building Services (5).

Interested and qualified persons are requested to visit the JSC job portal (https://jsc.go.ke/jobs-2/) for detailed job descriptions, requirements for appointments and instructions on how to apply.
