The Judiciary has announced jobs vacancies that will see over 500 Kenyans employed on either contract or permanent and pensionable terms. Through the Judicial Service Commission, the Judiciary has announced that interested candidates will be required to send in their applications by end of day on October 29, 2021.
The job vacancies range from court clerks to drivers. Among these positions is the post of  Senior Public Affairs and Corporate Communications Officer. It will be on a three-year contract renewable subject to satisfactory performance. The successful candidate will be paid a gross salary of between Sh. 169,800 – Sh. 227,600 per month.
The position of two Senior Law Clerks a similar three-year contract with the option of renewal is also up for grabs. Successful candidates will earn a gross salary of between Sh. 225,000 – Sh. 360,000 monthly.
Other positions include six law clerks on a gross salary of between Sh. 180,000 and Sh. 324,000 per month. These positions are on a three year contract.
500 Court Assistants will also be hired on a permanent basis with a gross salary of Sh. 61,400 and Sh. 79,300 per month. The successful candidates will also be entitled to a pension.
30 permanent and pensionable positions for drivers who will earn a monthly gross salary of between Sh. 61,400 and Sh. 79,300 have also been offered. These drivers will also be entitled to a pension.
There is also the position of Risk Management Officer. a gross salary of between Sh. 104,300 and Sh. 131,100 on permanent and pensionable term.
A Senior Architect’s position will see the successful candidate take home a salary of between Sh. 169,800 and Sh. 227,600 per month. This position will be on permanent and pensionable basis. A Senior Civil/Structural Engineer’s position will see the successful candidate take home a salary of between Sh. 169,800 and Sh. 227,600 monthly on a permanent and pensionable basis. The position of Senior Mechanical Engineer will see the successful applicant earn a gross salary of Sh. 169,800 – Sh. 227,600 on a permanent and pensionable basis.

A Senior Electrical Engineer’s position will attract a monthly gross salary of between Sh. 169,800 and Sh. 227,600 while four positions of Senior Quality Surveyors will attract salaries of Sh. 169,800 and Sh. 227,600 These positions will be permanent and pensionable.
Four positions for Superintendent of Works on a permanent and pensionable basis will attract salaries of between Sh. 94,400 and Sh. 118,900. while one post for a Senior Draughtsman will see the holder earn between Sh. 83,300 and Sh. 106,400 per month. 10 positions for a Chargehand on permanent and pensionable terms will see a salary range of between Sh. 73,000 and Sh. 93,900.
