On-Demand Drink Delivery: Leading eCommerce platform Jumia Kenya was feted as the Most preferred On-Demand Drink Delivery Provider during the Kenya Beverage Excellence Awards (KBEA) 2021.
KBEA was launched in 2019 to celebrate key players in the beverage sector (water, coffee, tea, juices, sodas, wines, dairy products and many others) with an aim to recognize and award local and international brands within the Kenyan market.
Recognizing Jumia’s unique role in logistics across the country, Jean-Jacques Maikere, Jumia Kenya, Chief Marketing Officer said,
“Jumia offers safe & contactless delivery options in Kenya including remote and rural areas with Jumia’s integrated logistics network. I call on the more than 100 players in the beverage industry gathered here today, to leverage Jumia’s logistics network, technology and expertise for last mile deliveries across the country”.
The 2nd Kenya Beverage Excellence Awards 2021 was organized by Asenti events and held in partnership with research firm, opinion track, KEBS, NESCAFE, among others.
“This award is a testament to the passion of our team at Jumia Kenya and we believe that technology has the potential to transform everyday life”,
added Jean-Jacques Maikere.
The event brought together more than 200 players in the beverage industry, policymakers, the government, and media to celebrate and recognize different categories of the beverage sector in Kenya.
