Have you ever flown on a plane? How was your experience? Well, one Kenyan has hilariously shared his maiden flight aboard Kenya Airways and the mixture of fear and excitement that he experienced.
Kaleb Owiro shared that his maiden flight was from Mombasa to Nairobi aboard a Kenya Airways plane. He described the experience as one he would never forget in his life. Here’s how he narrated his first-time experience on a plane:
“My maiden flight in an actual plane was from Mombasa to Nairobi.
It was a short journey of about 1 hour 15, though the whole thing felt like 7 minutes.
I swear to God I couldn’t sleep. The weather on that day was crazy. It rained in Nyali as if Noah was doing Floods season 2. I woke up at 4AM.
Despite the heavy downpour we made it to the airport.
First shock- removing everything metallic and shoes buana you remain with socks only. Put everything in a basket then walk through a scanner. Security at the airport is tighter than a Roysambu Chic.
Everything went well. We were handed our airtickets after the guards and cute KQ attendants confirmed beyond reasonable doubts that none of us was a gaidi.

Shock number 2: small cup of tea ,250 bob. I just said to hell ,I will drink tea in Kanairo. The flight was a whole experience.
For first timers, during take off, you feel like your intestines and the rest of the body get separated. After reaching cruising altitude and full speed, everything calms down.
You only see clouds up there. Occasional turbulence and the loud engines make you say a Prayer and forgive everyone you have ever wronged.
We took lots of pics and videos. It was a short but fun trip.
Immediately we touched down at JKIA and I posted the pictures, two of my ex-girlfriends texted me, “na siku hizi umepotea”. I didn’t reply. I don’t talk to cobras.
My dream is to fly the majestic A380 probably to Dubai, Ontario or Berlin some day.”
