Will KCSE 2023 exams stop on Monday, November 13? This has been the question many Kenyans have been asking after the Interior Ministry Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki declared the day a national public holiday.
The ministry has now come out to clarify that the KCSE 2023 exams will proceed as planned and will not be stopped to mark the holiday.
“Take note; KCSE papers scheduled for Monday 13th November 2023 shall proceed normally,” Interior Ministry Head of Communications Francis Gachuri said.
The holiday was gazetted by CS Kindiki on Monday November 7, 2023. It is intended to facilitate a national tree planting holiday that will be presided by President William Ruto.

The national examinations kicked off on October 23 and will run until the end of this month.
