EACC, KRA announce multiple job vacancies: Here’s how to apply

Kenyans seeking employment in public service have a reason to polish their CVs, as two government agencies have announced multiple job vacancies.

The two agencies are the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).

EACC vacancies

The EACC, mandated with the fight against corruption and economic crimes in Kenya, is looking to strengthen its team by hiring 19 new staff members across several departments.

Among the positions available are

  • Senior Investigation Officer – Mechanical Engineer

  • Administration Officer – Property Management

  • Investigation Officers – Accountants/Auditor (2 positions)

  • ICT Officers – Software Developer (2 positions)

  • Risk Management Officers

  • Accounts Assistants 1

  • Paralegal Clerk 11 –  (2 positions)
  • Information Assistant – (1 position)
  • Administrative Secretary (2 positions)

  • Office assistants – (2 positions)

The commission encourages interested and qualified applicants to submit their applications online via https://jobs.integrity.go.ke, where candidates can also find detailed job descriptions and requirements.

Applicants are expected to upload their ID, CV, academic and professional certificates, as well as testimonials. Applications must be received no later than Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 5pm.

Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) vacancies

The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), the government’s principal tax collection agency, is recruiting for a wide range of managerial positions. These roles are aimed at enhancing the agency’s technological, operational, and security infrastructure.

Some of the roles advertised by KRA include:

  • Assistant Manager – Cyber Security Operations Centre

  • Assistant Manager – Cloud Architecture & Technology Platform

  • Assistant Manager – Business Application Support (Customs & Border Control)

  • Assistant Manager – Data Governance, Capacity Management & Business Continuity

  • Manager – Domestic Taxes Project Portfolio

  • Manager – Quality Assurance, Revenue Assurance & Fraud

Bizna interviewed Human Resource Specialist James Ogweno Odhiambo from audit firm PKF, who shared practical tips to help navigate this delicate conversation.

In his detailed response, Ogweno started by saying that preparation was key. According to his, to tactfully answer the question, candidates need to research and be prepared.

In Kenya, salaries vary widely depending on the industry, company size, and location. Researching job portals like BrighterMonday or networking with professionals in your field can provide accurate salary data.

“If you’re applying for a mid-level HR role, for example, you might find the salary range in Nairobi to be between Sh 80,000 and Sh 150,000. Having a clear understanding of these figures gives you confidence when discussing salary,” Odhiambo explained.
