Kenya Airways resumed flights from Nairobi to Eldoret on Monday, March 25, 2024.
According to a release by the national carrier, KQ flights to Eldoret will cost Sh. 8,700 for a one way ticket while return flights will cost around Sh. 15,000.
The national carrier will fly to Eldoret five times per week, mostly with the Embraer 190 aircraft.
While announcing the resumption of the KQ flights to Eldoret,Kenya Airways chief executive officer Allan Kilavuka emphasized the strategic importance of reinstating flights to Eldoret, citing the airline’s dedication to bolstering regional connectivity and facilitating access to global markets.
“Our renewed focus on the domestic market reaffirms Kenya Airways’ pivotal role in advancing Africa’s economic prosperity. By connecting Eldoret to our extensive network, we aim to stimulate growth and foster lasting socio-economic development in the region,” said Kilavuka.
He added that the national carrier is working towards offering competitive airfares for the flights to Eldoret and flights from Eldoret in a bid to ensure affordability and accessibility for travelers.
“As Kenya Airways prepares to resume operations to Eldoret, travelers can expect exceptional service, world-class amenities, and the utmost commitment to safety and comfort” said Kilavuka.

Apart from these flights, Kenya Airways is also set to increase its flights to other markets. For instance, starting June 15 2024, KQ will operate two additional weekly flights between Nairobi and New York.
