The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced vacancies in 26 Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) diploma and certificate programmes.
In an update on Friday, April 18, KUCCPS said the vacancies will be open for application until April 30, 2025.
“Good news to applicants looking for KMTC courses. Following the recent placement of students to KMTC, 26 programmes still have limited vacancies,” KUCCPS stated.
The certificate courses include the Certificate in Health Records and Information Technology, Medical Emergency Technician, Orthopaedic Trauma Medicine, and Public Health.
On the other hand, diploma courses include Community Health, Emergency Medical Technology, Health Counselling, Health Insurance Management, Health Promotion, Health Records and Information Technology, Medical Engineering, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Medical Social Work, Mortuary Science and Nutrition and Dietetics.

Other Diploma programmes include Occupational Therapy, Orthopaedic Technology, Orthopaedic and Trauma Medicine, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Public Health, Radiography and Imaging and Speech and Language Therapy.
Interested applicants are advised to check the programmes’ requirements and available KMTC campuses on KUCCPS students’ portal.
“The programmes, their minimum requirements and available KMTC campuses are listed on the KUCCPS Student’s Portal. Log in to the portal to apply. Deadline is April 30, 2025,” the placement body added.
