KUCCPS releases list of institutions where students can revise courses

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has released a list of institutions where students experiencing difficulties with their first revision of courses can seek help.

In a statement on Tuesday, the placement body advised 2023 KCSE students seeking guidance for their first course revision to visit any of the institutions within their locality before April 4 2024.

Why primary and secondary schools might resume for second term late than usual

The 51 listed institutions per county are:

  1. Baringo – Baringo Technical College Bomet and SOT Technical Training Institute.
  2. Bungoma – Kisiwa Technical Training Institute
  3. Busia – Alupe University.
  4. Elgeyo Marakwet -Kapcherop Technical and Vocational College.
  5. Embu – Jeremiah Nyaga Technical Training Institute
  6. Garissa – Ijara Technical and Vocational College for assistance.
  7. Homabay – Tom Mboya University.
  8. Isiolo – Samburu Technical and Vocational College.
  9. Kajiado – Ngong Technical and Vocational College.
  10. Kakamega – Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology and Shamberere Technical Training Institute.
  11. Kericho – Kericho Township Technical and Vocational College.
  12. Kiambu – Kiambu National Polytechnic and Thika Technical Training Institute.
  13. Kilifi – Pwani University.
  14. Kirinyaga – Mwea Technical and Vocational College.
  15. Kisii – Orogare Technical and Vocational College.
  16. Kisumu – Nyakach Technical and Vocational College and Ramogi Institute of Science and Technology.
  17. Kitui – Mulango Technical and Vocational College.
  18. Kwale – Kinango Technical and Vocational College.
  19. Laikipia students – Laikipia West Technical and Vocational College.
  20. Lamu – Lamu East Technical and Vocational College.
  21. Machakos – Machakos Institute for the Blind.
  22. Makueni – Kibwezi West Technical Training Institute.

The KUCCPS opened its portal to allow students to revise their courses on March 19. The application window also targets Kenyans who sat for KCSE from 2000 to 2023 and are yet to join a TVET institution.

The portal will remain open until April 4, 2024.
