The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened its portal for students seeking placement at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC).
In a statement dated Tuesday, June 24, 2025, KUCCPS said the application window targets students seeking placement in the ongoing September 2025 intake.
The placement body invited interested candidates to send their applications between June 23 and July 7, 2025.
“Announcement! The KUCCPS System is open for KMTC September 2025 intake application. View available Programmes here: https://students.kuccps.net/programmes/search-kmtc/ Log in to apply. Deadline: July 7, 2025,” read the statement.
How to Apply
Interested candidates are urged to submit their application via the KUCCPS portal: students.kuccps.net
On the application dashboard, candidates will be prompted to enter their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) index number, KCSE year, and password.
Applicants are advised to use their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) index number or birth certificate number as their password.

Diploma and Certificate Courses Offered at KMTC via KUCCPS
Some of the diploma courses listed on the Placement Service Portal include Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Diploma in Radiography and Imaging, Diploma in Mortuary Science, Diploma in Medical Engineering, Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Diploma in Physiotherapy, and Diploma in Community Health.
Other courses include Diploma in Pharmacy, Diploma in Public Health, Diploma in Orthopaedic and Trauma Medicine, Diploma in Medical Social Work, Diploma in Emergency Medical Technology, Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics, Diploma in Occupational Therapy, and Diploma in Health Counselling.
Certificate courses being offered for the KMTC September 2025 include Certificate in Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nursing, Certificate in Medical Engineering, Certificate in Medical Emergency Technician, and Certificate in Orthopaedic Trauma Medicine.
Others are Certificate in Health Insurance Management, Certificate in Health Records and Information Technology, Certificate in Community Health Assistance, Certificate in Public Health, and Certificate in Nutrition and Dietetics.
