Lolani Kalu New Job: Troubled journalist Lolani Kalu is on the road to recovery. After a painful job loss and financial ruin, the former NTV journalist has secured a job as a reporter for TV47.
Lolani will be based in Mombasa and will cover the six coast counties. Lolani says that he has already signed a one-year contract with the TV station.
“I have signed a one-year deal with TV47, the opportunity came after fans saw me shooting my personal shows with one of the artists I was interviewing having TV47 branding. Fans called TV47 to find out if I had signed a deal with the station, and that prompted them to hand me a contract. I will be a coast regional reporter covering the six counties,” he said.
Lolani also thanked Kenyans for coming to his aid. He also said that he had received equipment worth Sh. 370,000.
“I want to appreciate fans who did a fundraiser for me through some of the shows that I will do. Some of them have started suggesting the stories they would want to be covered. I was already doing some of my shows that focused on the impact of Covid-19 on local artists, and I plan to do that in all the 47 counties,” he said. Lolani Kalu New Job.
