The company is located in Nairobi’s Keekorok Road, Watersys Arcade and Kasarani next to Hope Restoration Church.
How the company was started
Kishtech Green Energy Limited was founded in 2013. My first steps towards creating Kishtech were first by identifying and answering three questions, The How, Why and when. Having answered those questions I was able to know why (the reason) I want to start up the business, and the timeline when I want the business up and running.
Marketing strategy
Our most effective way of publicizing our business is through email marketing whereby we look for emails for potential clients and send our profile, through Search Engine Optimization and by the word of mouth.
Biggest challenge
Most people are yet embrace green energy technologies and the high initial installation costs.
Overcoming challenges
We are overcoming these challenges by trying to educate people on the benefits of Green energy, our Government has also offered great support in green energy technology by the zero taxation for green energy products.
Motivation
My greatest motivation to starting Kishtech Energy came from my love of nature and trying to find ways of conserving the environment.
I also always believe that Good things come to those who Believe, Better things come to those who are Patient and BEST things come to those who don’t give up. I believe in myself, I never give up.
Advice to other entrepreneurs
My advice to other entrepreneurs comes from the quote by Henry Ford, “If you believe you can and if you believe you can’t you are absolutely right”.
