Being a politician is a well-paying gig that comes with bags of cash and fame. It also affords politicians the opportunity to acquire luxurious assets and indulge in high-end living.
One such politician is Kenya’s Ministry of Interior Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) Millicent Omanga, who has never shied away from flaunting her lavish lifestyle.
Millicent Omanga, one of the leading female figures in the country, is renowned for consistently interacting with Kenyans and at the same time serving dutifully in government. Hailing from a modest background, she has climbed through the ranks to prominence.
She has been generous in giving house tours of her lavish Nairobi mansion to her fans and has also provided glimpses of her family’s property in Eldoret
1. Omanga’s Nairobi mansion
A decent home is always a person’s ambition. This can be said about Omanga’s Nairobi residence with its pristine interior decor.
The first thing that catches the eye upon seeing Omanga’s residence is the well-manicured lawns and beautiful flowers surrounding the compound. It is secured with a tall wall.
Upon entry into the house, visitors are greeted by a gleaming living room with wooden flooring and exquisite white walls that create a spacious and airy ambience.
The room exudes a regal aura with white chandeliers, reflective surfaces on walls and elegant pearl white sofas. This demonstrates the legislator’s exceptional taste in interior design.
The combination of different colours on the walls showcases her ability to blend different styles and patterns effortlessly.
The area closest to the TV section on one side of the living room is adorned with butterfly decorations and painted in a beautiful shade of grey.
The stunning sitting leads to an equally captivating dining area that radiates elegance and charm. A round marble table surrounded by six white leather seats provides a perfect spot for Omanga, her husband and her children to enjoy their meals.
Worth noting, it is conveniently situated next to a large window that allows natural light to flood in, giving the space a refreshing outdoor ambience.
The wall is tastefully decorated with a collection of mirrors and cherished photographs of the family in memorable places
The kitchen is designed to be modern and spacious, with an open-concept layout. The cream-coloured walls complement the contemporary aesthetic, while the ample kitchen cabinets offer plenty of storage for kitchenware.
Omanga’s kitchen is equipped with a full range of appliances, such as an oven, microwave, refrigerator and water dispenser.
Just ahead of the dining room, there is a contemporary spiral staircase leading upstairs. The first room is for her daughter, Maya. The room has white walls, a wardrobe and pink curtains. It also features a private bathroom, toilet, bunk bed and study desk.
All these amenities create a vibrant feel for a youthful person, particularly a girl.
The master bedroomed is conveniently situated for the homeowner. It has a king-sized bed and a comfortable leather sofa set for lying and unwinding. Also, one corner of the room has a recliner seat.
A large window adjacent to the bed provides ample natural light. A chandelier hanging over the bed adds a touch of elegance and class to the room. It also has a facial make-up area for her beauty and facial impressions.
Speaking to KTN Art of Living’s Naila in a past interview, Millicent Omanga noted that she did could not care less about what trolls on social media say about her.
“I decided to ignore it because that’s not me. Whatever they’re saying, that’s not me. So why would I bother? I would’ve bothered if it’s me they’re talking about,” she addressed.
2. Omanga’s Eldoret Mansion
On a previous occasion, Millicent Omanga, the former Senator, left many Kenyans amazed after she posted some photos of her Eldoret home on social media.
In one photo, she was seen walking around the compound with her pet dog, Bobby, outside her five-bedroom mansion.
The photos showed that Omanga’s compound had well-maintained cabro pavements and a neatly trimmed lawn. The house was surrounded by a large perimeter wall and fence, offering security and privacy.
Located in the affluent Elgon View Estate in Eldoret, the house boasted a spacious kitchen, a huge living room, and a grand dining area, all equipped with television sets.
Interestingly, Omanga’s husband, affluent businessman Benjamin Kimani, reportedly owns the house.
The photos also gave a glimpse of a sleek black Range Rover, adding to the luxurious appeal of the property.
