Miss Trudy, a lifestyle content creator, found herself at the center of a social media storm after she unleashed a tantrum at Mombasa’s Moi International Airport.
In the incident, Miss Trudy was found filming at the entry-way to the airport, which is a protected zone where photography and filming are prohibited.

When asked to move by security officials, she refused and claimed that she was being harassed and had done nothing wrong, causing a scene in the process.
This entitlement attitude did not go down well with Kenyans, who blasted her for breaking several laws and causing drama despite being on the wrong.
Miss trudy claimed that herYoutube channel was her main source for generating income, bringing up to Sh 1 million per month.
“I didn’t make money on YouTube for a year and never even knew that you could make money on Youtube until a year later when I learned of it and applied. That’s when I learned of AdSense (YouTube Monetization program),” she said in an earlier interview.
She received a payment of Sh10,000 from AdSense, which was equivalent to her previous monthly salary when she was a supermarket attendant before losing her job.
Despite the judgment and doubts from colleagues and others, Miss Trudy persisted and advises anyone starting content creation to be dedicated and consistent.
“I was happy that I was making money from something I love doing but after a few months, it dawned on me that it was too little to meet my needs. I had colleagues from campus who had proper jobs. Some would judge me for what I was doing,”
“People used to judge me to the point that I doubted myself. Someone even asked me ‘Who do you think is going to watch you? You are not Vera Sidika.’ I cried about it but kept going. I really never saw a future in content creation but something within urged me to keep going. I don’t regret it because I make enough money now. I have made 10,000 dollars (Sh. 1.35 million) a month from YouTube, one of my highest paychecks.”
To date, her YouTube channel, which has been operational since May 2014, has accumulated more than 59 million views.
