Omosh’s first wife Mrs Ngatia begs Kenyans to build her a house

Former Tahidi High actor Joseph Kinuthia’s first wife Mrs Ngatia has pleaded with Kenyans to build her a house. Mrs Ngatia, whose real name is Judy Wachuka, said that she is unable to pay rent at her bedsitter in Kayole, where she lives with her three children. Mrs. Ngatia’s husband, Omosh said that they had called for help because his second wife was occupying the house well wishers built for him.

She spoke during an interview with her husband that was aired on Thursday August 19. Mrs Ngatia said that she had gone through a lot since 2020 when the pandemic struck.

“Life has been challenging for us since the pandemic struck. But, when I was at Tahidi High, at least I could fend for my children,” she said. “I have suffered with my children. They have been chased away from school over fees numerous times.”

Mrs. Ngatia said that she had been thrown out of four houses in the past two years as landlords do not believe she lacks rent since they famously appeared on the TV show. “My landlords used to see us on TV and would not believe that we could not pay rent. One time, I used to stay in Umoja but was thrown out by the landlord saying my husband has a big name,” she said. “Sometimes I feel like wearing a buibui so people cannot recognize me.”

Mrs. Ngatia also divulged that she currently owes her landlord two months’ rent arrears amounting to Sh.10,000. “Even if I get a one-bedroom, metal house, I would move into it very fast. I don’t want to disturb people because I know times are hard. I would appreciate it even if I get a temporary structure for now,” she said.
