Co-Op post

If you visit your nearest supermarket, you will be pleased to spot Mumias Sugar back on shelves.

The popular local brand of sugar is back on shelves after a ten year break. The sugar started hitting the shelves over the weekend and was first available at all Naivas Supermarkets.

The two kilogram packet of Mumias Sugar is retailing at Sh. 289 which is cheaper than what the Sh. 312 that other brands are selling at.

Mumias is currently being operated by Sarrai Group which is led by Sarbi Singh Rai. Sarbi is the brother of Jaswant Rai who leads rival sugar milling company Kabras Sugar.
