Muthoni Mukiri YouTube: Popular media personality Muthoni Mukiri has revealed the amount of money she makes from her YouTube channel.
Muthoni said that she has been making good money from the channel since leaving her job as a news anchor at Inooro Tv. “The most money I have made in a month on YouTube was in March when I made Sh. 65,000. The other months I made Sh. 35,000, Sh. 20,000 and I have also made Sh. 12,000,” she said.
Muthoni went on to say that it is possible to make up to SH. 1 million on the platform as long as you have a good following and good content.
“You can even make Sh. 1 million per month, you can also make Sh. 10,000. It is not consistent and that’s why you should not quit your daily income to focus on YouTube. People with very many subscribers get to a point where they are making Sh. 1 million a month or Sh. 500,000 but you have to start from somewhere,” she said.

Muthoni has been gaining subscribers in a high rate over the last few months. Within the last eight months, her subscribers have increased from a few tens to 54,000 subscribers.

Currently, the YouTube Partner Program enables content creators to monetize their videos on the platform once they hit the minimum threshold of 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours.
