Emerging reports say that a Nakuru couple that was blessed with newborn quintuplets have lost their babies.
The five babies had been admitted at the incubation unit of Margaret Kenyatta Mother and Baby wing at the Rift Valley Provincial General Hospital.
According to Superintendent, Dr. Aisha Maina all the five children died on Thursday morning, February 2.
Dr. Maina had earlier explained that 25-year-old Margaret Wairimu went to the hospital in pain on January 29.
The babies were then delivered safely through cesarean section, though prematurely.
Machogu bans morning, night preps. School hours to start at 8am, end at 3.45pm
“The pregnancy was at six months so the babies were delivered with very low weights of between 500gams and 600grams,” said Maina.
