Long serving Taveta constituency member of parliament Naomi Shaban has lost her seat.
Ms. Shaban has also conceded defeat and congratulate her opponent Bwire Okano of the Wiper Party.
“Good people, there is time for everything. Well done team Bwire,” Naomi Shabam who is the Jubilee Deputy Party Leader said.
“Thank you for giving me a chance to serve you for 20 years. My young brother Okano, I congratulate you.”
In the same election, Moris Mutiso of ODM also conceded defeat. He promised his supporters to mount a bigger fight in the 2027 elections.

Mutiso narrowly lost the seat to Shaban in the 2017 election. He said that all indications were clear that he had lost.
“We have lost this election, I conceded with my head held high. We live to fight some other day. Let’s get back to work now,” Mutiso said.
