“The new internet banking now enables individual customers, business owners, corporate companies and institutions to carry out various transactions and monitor their bank accounts through the internet. We have a few security layer measures when you log in, which ensure that only you are able to access your account,” said Co-op Bank in a statement to Bizna Kenya.
Additionally, with the New Co-op Internet Banking, you can conveniently and directly pay for your utility bills such as electricity token once you self-register for the service.

When using the new platform, customers can either carry out their personal banking transactions or corporate transactions. Interestingly, the platform has made it even better for corporate, business and institutional non-customers to join and enjoy the benefits.
A look at the platform shows that some of the banking activities that you will be able to do include:
- View, download or print account statements for all your Co-op Bank Accounts
- Start, stop or amend standing orders in real time
- Transfer cash to another Co-op account in real time
- Transfer cash to another local bank account in 1 working day
- Transfer cash to a foreign bank account in foreign currency
- Pay utility bills, for example, KPLC, DStv and Nairobi Water
- Make bulk payments, for example, salaries, dividends, loan disbursements, bonuses and supplier payments
