Nissan Bluebird Sylphy dashboard problems

The Nissan Bluebird Sylphy has many positive attributes. Among these is it space capabilities. The car is simply voluminous.

It has now been hailed as a breakout sedan that is better than Toyota’s NZE / Axio. In fact, it is commonly seen as Nissan’s answer to the Toyota twins of Allion and Premio.

One of its most irritating attributes has been the defective dashboard, that was especially common in the pre-2009 models.

DashboardThe dashboard material, under intense heat, melts and looks really bad. It ends up looking like the dashboard suffers from a serious case of pimple breakout.

There have also been complaints that appeared to reveal that the material used to do the interior looked like cheap plastics common with cars like the Nissan Wingroad.

Well, the issue of the defective dashboard may have changed with the newer models of the Nissan Bluebird Sylphy, which have been equipped with a new dashboard capable of resisting the occurrence of the hideous air bubble issue found in earlier versions.

For owners with previous Bluebirds with the defective dashboards, changing or covering it was seen as a solution. This though was suggested to be a first priority mechanical change.
