The Open University of Kenya (OUK) has announced over 90 jobs within its administrative and academic departments.
In an advert on Tuesday, June 4, OUK urged qualified and interested applicants to apply before Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
“Open University of Kenya (OUK) is an equal opportunity employer and, therefore, applicants of either gender, persons with disabilities and those from marginalised areas are encouraged to apply,” said Prof Christopher Chepken, the Open University of Kenya’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of Planning and Infrastructure, while announcing the job vacancies.
Among the available jobs are professors, associate professors, senior lecturers, lecturers, and tutorial fellows in its School of Science and Technology and School of Education.
OUK is also seeking to hire secretaries, security guards, drivers, human resource officers, technicians, and other maintenance officers. Interested applicants can view the vacant positions on the OUK Website.

OUK further urges interested applicants to attach an application Letter, a detailed Curriculum Vitae indicating, copies of certificates, National ID, and other testimonials.
Other requirements are names, telephone numbers, and contact addresses of three referees.
Applicants should ensure that the referees submit confidential reports on the applicant’s suitability for the post to the undersigned before the closure date.
”The Terms of Service will be either Permanent and Pensionable OR Contract, as shall be determined by the University Council,’’ OUK stated.
