Over 50 Per Cent Of Space Taken For Auto Expo

Over 50 per cent of the plots in this year’s Auto Expo have been sold and the few remaining slots are expected to be snapped up well before the final deadline of September 13th.

Auto Expo is an informal exposition of Kenya’s motor industry and is a great attraction at the CBA Africa Concours d’Elegance scheduled for September 29th at the Nairobi Racecourse.

Motoring enthusiasts who attend the annual Concours will be treated to a variety of new cars, pick-ups, SUVs and 4 X 4s from motor trade companies like DT Dobie, Isuzu Kenya, Toyota and Nissan Kenya who have booked large plots. Sohansons will display motorcycles and Car and General will show both motorcycles and three wheelers.

Regulations for Auto Expo, the Concours and the Classic Car and Motorcycle Sale are available from the event website (www.concourskenya.com), or from the Concours office in the Bob Dewar Publicity suite in Block G, Norfolk Towers, Kijabe Street. The email address is [email protected] and the telephone numbers are 2229793, or 3316160, 2229459, or 0733 732032 during office hours.

In addition to the vehicles on show Pipe Manufacturers Ltd will be exhibiting exhaust systems and accessories and there will be a display of the Chloride Exide range of lead acid and maintenance free batteries. Radbone-Clark will devote their exhibit to car care products while Total Kenya will promote lubricants.

Auto Expo provides an ideal opportunity to show new vehicles, tyres, accessories, anti-theft devices, suspension systems and fuels to the motorists who flock to the Concours. This is the classiest event on the Kenya motor sport calendar and has been held by the Alfa Romeo Owners Club for the past 49 years.
