Property Reality Company (PRC), a property and real estate company based here in Nairobi held a successful meeting with Biznakenya.com to discuss some of the company’s strategic measures for 2018, aimed at ensuring the company continues to offer best services to its clients.

“I started PRC 8 years ago with a vision to make it a ‘reality’ for every Kenyan to be able to own a piece of land” says Brian Gacari, CEO, at PRC. “Starting this company was not easy, I actually held the first title deed after six months!” Today his company has grown to be worth much more and has a database of over 8000 clients.

 However, just like any other company, they have had their own share of challenges. Being a real estate company focused on current technology and innovation, there are technical errors which might happen here and there. The company’s management is however set to ensure such challenges do not interfere with its operations.

One notable challenge the company faced in 2017 was a slight failure in its Kilimo Biashara model.  The setback in the concept resulted in the company losing some of its investors, however the good news is, the concept is since being modified to make it more investor – friendly.

One exciting thing about PRC is that the company offers affordable and customer friendly properties to its clients to ensure both low, medium and high income earners are able to afford their products. The company also accepts various modes of payment from its clients.

The main strategy the company is planning to put in place in 2018 is to prioritize its customers, ensuring they are offered excellent services to their satisfaction.

Another challenge the company faces is delay in issuing of title deeds to some of its clients. “This is because some processes in Government offices take longer than expected. However, with the exception of some projects, we have been able to get title deeds within the required time line” says Brian.

Before acquiring any piece of land, the company ensures it has done thorough due diligence to ensure the parcel being sold is free of encumbrances.

Majority of the company’s clients are under 40 years of age, a reason why it has decided to be more innovative and tech-inclined.
