Show Raila results transmission servers, Supreme Court orders IEBC

The Supreme Court has ordered the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to open up servers to the Azimio la Umoja coalition.

The results transmission servers to be opened are those that were involved in the storing and transmission of voting information.

The orders state that the IEBC will provide the Azimio coalition with a supervised access to any servers that may be storing forensically imaged information used to capture a copy of the Form 34C which is the total votes cast.

The court further ordered the IEBC provide the Raila’s Azimio coalition with copies of its technology system security policy comprising but not limited to password policy, password matrix and owners of system administration password(s).

The coalition will also be given information on the system users and levels of access, workflow chats for identification, tallying, transmission and posting of portals.

Still on technology, IEBC will provide its technology system security policy comprising any application programming interface (API) that had been integrated and the list of human interface and controls for such intervention.
