A young Kenyan graduate started selling smokies and eggs in Nairobi after giving up on jobs. The young accounting graduate has been selling smokies and eggs around the National Archives area in Nairobi.
Interestingly, he has taken to using social media to market his hustle and call on Kenyans to pass by and promote his business.
“Si mkuje hapa Archives mkule smokies na mayai ni weekend wasee!” the young Kenyan who identifies as Masao Gesonso1 on Twitter urged Kenyans.
Kenyans took to social media to support his resolution, praising him for dropping his ego and to earn a living.
“Hakuna kazi ndogo. Heshimu kazi and you’ll never be disappointed,” one Kenyan remarked.

“Bro I love this keep the consistency,be creative on service delivery and create good relationship with clients more opportunities will come in business. I started same way like you and rest in history. Napenda youths wenye hujituma sana. Nitakutafuta nikule smokie,” another Kenyan bwho identified as Edwin Nganyi commented.

The young graduate is one of the 77 per cent of Kenya’s population bearing the blunt of unemployment as figures by the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) for the four year period to 2022 shows.
