Shaffie Weru lands lucrative managerial job weeks after Homeboyz sack

Shaffie Weru New Job: Controversial media personality Shaffie Weru has landed a new managerial role weeks after losing his job at Radio Africa’s Homeboyz.

Speaking during an interview on KTN‘s What’s Your Story, on Saturday, April 25, Shaffie disclosed that he had landed a managerial job at Royal Group of companies.

“This is my new hustle and here we do many things… it does a lot of investments that does a lot of investments and realtor business… This is my new hustle. This time round I am coming out,” he said.

Shaffie was fired together with popular Dj Joe Mfalme on saturday night. The sack came hours after the East African Breweries announced that it had suspended advertising with the Radio Africa Group over rape slurs that the presenters had made.

The slurs were made after a woman revealed in court that she had been thrown off the 12th floor of a building by a man whom she had just met for a first date, leaving her immobile and paralysed. The victim Eunice Wakimbi told Principle Magistrate Esther Kimilu that the suspect, Moses Njoroge had pushed her to the tragic fall after she rejected his sexual advances during their date. The fall caused her serious pelvic injuries.

Radio Africa was paying Shaffie up to Sh. 682,500 per month for his services at Homeboyz Radio. It is now not clear if Shaffie is getting the same heavy pay at Royal Group or not.
