Stanbic Bank announces auction of cars for as low as Sh500k

Stanbic Bank Kenya has announced the sale of motor vehicles in Nairobi and other parts of the country through a public auction.

In a Public notice on the Daily Nation Newspaper on Thursday September 4, the lender invited interested bidders to purchase the 23 motor vehicles stationed in various yards across the country.

Among the advertised vehicles is a Mercedes-Benz Actross 2524, Toyota Prado, Honda Vezel, Mazda Demio, Nissan Note, Subaru Outback, and a Mitsubishi Fuso FIVI, among others.

According to the notice, the cheapest car model, a Nissan Lafesta, is set to be disposed for Sh500,000, with the most expensive brand, a Mitsubishi Fuso FIVI, selling at Sh7.39 million

The vehicles will be sold on an ‘As is Where is’ basis, with interested buyers urged to submit bids on or before Thursday, September 11, 2025.

Additionally, interested bidders will be required to pay a non-refundable fee of Sh2,000. The lender advised interested buyers to view the motor vehicles at the specified storage yards before placing a bid.

“Bids with full contact details should be submitted via Email to [email protected]. Any offer received after the bid closing date will not be considered,” read the notice in part.

  6. Mercedes-Benz Actros 2545 – Sh4.74 million
  7. Toyota L. Cruiser Prado – Sh4.55 million
  8. Mercedes-Benz Actros 2545 – Sh4.4 million
