A new and interesting soap opera is set to hit your TV screen. The soap opera dubbed Woman from a Family of Swordsmen will be airing on Star Times. Today, we bring you the first synopsis of this program.
The main theme revolves around Shi Caifeng, a lady who is married to the Yu clan at the tender age of 15. She is kind-hearted, tolerant, introverted and weak. She is married to Huaqian in the Shi Quan village, where values, chastity and righteousness are the core principles, especially for women. However, despite these attributes, Shi Caifeng is raped. After suffering from rape, Shi Caifeng is forced to live in bondage and oppression. She is considered as so spoiled that she believes she is morally dirty and unworthy of being a woman. She is no longer allowed to go back to the Yu family where she is married. Worse, she is separated from her son, who she is forbidden from seeing. The only way she can redeem herself is by committing suicide. But there’s one thing holding her back: her son. She can’t bear the thought of leaving her only child suffering behind.
The greater her pain becomes, the bigger her vendetta grows. Pushed to the edge, Shi Caifeng embarks on a revenge mission against her oppressors. She changes into a cruel and evil goddess! She will rise against her badly-behaved husband and the abusive Pan family.
When you first encounter the evil Shi Caifeng, you will be tempted to cast stones at her. How evil she can be! Or will her trail of destruction and self-hate end up consuming her?
