A report that appeared in a local newspaper suggests that popular news anchor Swaleh Mdoe’s financial woes have deepened. The report says that the flashy news anchor has disposed his car and moved out of his house.
The conclusion that the report alludes to Swaleh is because no other news anchor has been hit by financial woes and publicly declared so apart from Mdoe.
In February this year, he shocked Kenyans when he announced that he was selling his kidney in a bid to ease his biting money problems.
Below is the news report that appears in the SDE:
“With financial woes haunting him after living a flashy extravagant life of a star, a popular male TV anchor has disposed his car and moved out of his house – for a cheaper estate.
The TV star who has worked in two leading media houses and whose illustrious career has been enviable is said to have been bogged down by loans that have left his pay slip drained.
His car was placed in a car yard alongside Mombasa Road on Wednesday, seven days after moving houses.
Sources at the car yard told Pulse that he is looking for a quick sale deal and that the car can hardly fetch Sh. 350,000.”
