Telkom Kenya has for long been operating its T-Kash mobile app, making its mobile money solution easily accessible to all users.

The app is available for Android, iOS, and even macOS platforms (for M1 Apple devices), allowing you to use the app on the device of your choice.

One notable feature of the app is that signing in to a new device doesn’t log you out of a previous one. This ensures your user experience is truly mobile and flexible.

The process of signing in is straightforward and secure. You’ll receive an OTP SMS but you still need to authenticate the app with your T-Kash PIN.

Another cool feature is that you don’t need to have your Telkom SIM card on whichever device you’re signing in. All you need is an active internet connection. Pretty amazing, right?

Signing in process

• First, you must have a Telkom number that’s registered for T-Kash
• Install the app from the Applications Store
• Input your mobile phone number
• Get the OTP SMS code from Telkom and input it
• Input your T-Kash Pin and there you go.

The app has a user-friendly interface, with four main tabs at the bottom: Home, T-Kash, Telkom, and Profile.

The Home tab lets you quickly send money, buy airtime, pay bills, or buy goods.

The T-Kash tab shows you all your T-Kash details, including your balance, transactions, and statements. You can also deposit cash into your account via this tab.

The Telkom tab displays details on your data, minutes, airtime, and balances and has a shop locator feature.

Finally, the Profile tab allows you to customize your account details, such as your profile picture and T-Kash PIN.

It also has a Customizable Quick Actions Button. The Quick Actions button on the app can be customized to display frequently used features or functions that may otherwise be difficult to access.
