2. Shanghai Tower, Shanghai, China – The tallest building in China and second tallest in the world is currently the Shanghai Tower. At 632 meters (2,073 ft) and 128 floors it’s not even close to the monumental Burj Khalifa, but it’s an amazing engineering achievement nonetheless. Construction of the Shanghai tower began in 2008 and reached its final height in August 2013. The building officially opened on June 2015

3. Makkah Royal Clock Tower Hotel, Saudi Arabia

601 meters (1,971 ft) and 120 floors. Also known as Abraj Al Bait, it was completed in 2012 and located in Mecca
