According to the 2022 Africa wealth report by research firm New World Wealth and Henley & Partners, Kenya is home to 340 billionaires. The 340 individuals have an estimated net worth of over $10 million (Ksh1.2 billion).
Some of the country’s affluent individuals are politicians and top businessmen, and women. Joshua Jepkwony is one of the top businessmen in the country, with multiple investments in the real estate, manufacturing, and communication sectors, among others.

Joshua is the founder and chief executive officer of Jamiii Telecommunication Ltd (JTL), which offers the Faiba Internet.
The company was established in 2016 with the main objective of providing internet services to consumers across the country for increased productivity & sustainable growth.
According to its website, JTL was the first telecommunication company in Kenya to:
- Deploy a 700MHZ mobile network in Kenya
- Deliver 1mbps broadband internet for ksh. 1000 ( less than $10) in Kenya

Sergoit Holdings
Sergoit Holdings is a real estate company that runs the multimillion Sergoit Golf and Wildlife Resort in Eldoret.
According to the company’s Facebook account, the property is a sprawling ranch that also serves as a wildlife sanctuary.
It is home to the Rothschild Giraffe – one of the priority species in wildlife conservation. Other animals in the area include antelopes, duikers, and a large variety of birds.

Jamii Milling Limited
Joshua is the name behind Jamii Millers, which sits on an eight-acre piece of land in Uasin Gishu. The plant, which processes maize flour, wheat flour, and animal feeds, was launched in 2015.
It is said to have cost him Sh1 billion. The plant has the capacity to process 3,000 bags of maize in a day.
