Top Land Selling Companies in Kenya: The number of Kenyans venturing into the Real Estate business is increasing exponentially mainly as a result of high profit margins gained from successful sale of land, properties or buildings. In the same vein, more and more Kenyans are turning their dream of owning a piece of land or property into reality.  However, the quest to own property has also seen the rise of unscrupulous real estate dealers who have siphoned billions from unsuspecting buyers. As a result, the big question becomes: What are the top, credible real estate companies that one can ride on to own land or a home? Let us take a look at the five top land selling companies in Kenya today:

  1. Username Investment

Username Investment Limited is an established Kenyan-based real estate development and investment company. The company focuses on providing strategic, value added and affordable land to the current and upcoming generations.

It began operations in 2013 having identified a gap in the real estate sector where majority of investors were unable to access properties due to the high prices charged. “We came in targeting the young population aged 20-35 years who are in their first or second employment earning looking for investment opportunities within their incomes,” says Username in a statement.

  1. Fanaka Real Estate Company

It is among the most preferred real estate companies in Nairobi. Over the past three years, the company has established itself as the company of choice for many Kenyans looking to acquire land, especially due to its presentation of ready title deeds upon acquisition.

The company is more favorable for low-income earners due to the affordability of its plots. For instance, the company sells an eighth (1/8) of an acre in satellite towns such as Kamulu, Joska and Malaa at prices as low as Sh. 528,000.

Interestingly, the plots that Fanaka sells are located close to the Nairobi Central Business District (CBD). Their projects are located along Kangundo road and within a radius of 39km from the CBD. Kangundo road is currently under expansion to be made dual carriage from Caltex all the way to Malaa town.

Our aim is to empower rather than put a strain on the customer’s pockets,” says Fanaka in a statement. “In all our properties we ensure we put a perimeter fence, put a steel estate gate, grade the access roads and install water and electricity to make the properties ready for construction.”
