TripAdvisor (one of the best travel websites) has just ranked Mombasa and Nairobi as Africa’s top 25 destinations to visit.
Last week, the website released winners of 2015 travellers choice awards based on opinions collected in a single year from visitors all over the world. Watamu and Diani beach were voted by millions of reviewers and travellers from around the globe, said TripAdvisor.
Three coastal beaches, Watamu, Nyali and Diani were ranked ninth, 22nd and 24th respectively. Watamu was voted overwhelmingly for being an ideal spot “for a swim and tanning session.
Mombasa’s luring beach front hotels received numerous reviews from travellers in search of “sun, sand and surf” while Diani received comments for its sparkling white sands and lush greenery that invites tourists to beach umbrellas.
