Tuskys to open fourth Nakuru branch

Tuskys Supermarket is set to open its fourth branch in Nakuru this year.

The second largest retailer in the country by revenue is taking 22,000 square feet at the five storey Imani Mall owned by the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) as an anchor tenant.

Nakuru is regarded the fourth largest town in the country with agriculture, manufacturing and tourism as the backbone of its economy.

“This general store will be located at the Imani Mall along Nakuru-Eldoret highway, offering convenience shopping to customers on transit,” said John Kago, Tuskys chairman.

The mall was partially opened on Friday and other tenants, including Tuskys, are expected to start operations in the coming days.

Opening of the outlet  will bring to 60 the branch network of the retailer in the region including 53 in Kenya and seven in Uganda.
