The trend of young and ordinary Kenyans flocking there just to see the massive establishment and take pictures isn’t going to stop anytime soon. This will badly affect business. You are telling me some CEO wants to shop for a gold watch or expensive suit at Two Rivers Mall while there are funny looking guys from Githurai in the same store too? No way. Hell no. He’ll be too paranoid to even try it, leave alone not being comfortable.
I don’t even know how this problem can be fixed. It’s like spilt milk. What the management and tenants can do now is to rely on hope. They should hope that the tendency of people with no purchasing power to swarm there won’t affect business. They should hope that the hype will die down so that the mall can now attract it’s real target.
