President Uhuru Kenyatta’s sister Kristina Pratt has been nominated to join the next Senate. Kristina will join the next Senate together with Nairobi Governor Ann Kananu who has also been nominated for the same position.
These nominations have been made by the Jubilee party which is led by President Uhuru.
The party has also nominated Sabina Chege for parliament. Sabina is the outgoing Women Rep for Murang’a County.
These nominations are contained in a gazzeted list that has been published by the Independent Electoral Commission (IEBC).

The nomination of Uhuru’s sister comes days after she was awarded a honorary degree by the Kenyatta University.
